Welcome to my home page. My name is Julie Sinai Paris and I am one of the owners of JRP Productions. My husband, Russell, and I started our graphic design business out of our desire to find a career we both enjoy and genuinely care about. As well as working with small to medium sized businesses, we deal with a number of non-profit organizations, offering our work at discounted rates. This is one way we feel we can give back to our community. We maintain a hands-on relationship with all of our clients and we are proud of the work we produce.
As with everything in life, Russell and I have our own areas of expertise. My educational background and work experience have allowed me the ability to specialize in both the public relations and writing aspects of the business. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with an emphasis on narrative writing from CSU Northridge.
I have always had a love of the written word. So much so that as an undergraduate, I took a writing course from nearly every department on campus. While at CSUN, I worked at the Career Planning and Placement Office as a Public Relations Intern and in the English department as a tutor for students who did not pass the English Proficiency Exam (to graduate). I also had the opportunity to work as an aide in an ESL (English as a Second Language) English class. These experiences allowed me to develop a sense of unique writing styles, levels, and abilities. I learned to understand the technique of writing for specific audiences and for specific fields--all significant tools I continue to perfect as I work with my clients today.
I was very active on campus while an undergraduate. I was a member of the Beta Beta Chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority and a little sister to the Gamma Beta Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. In my junior year I was tapped for Order of Omega National Honorary Fraternity, an honor I have always been proud of. I ran in a campus wide election and was elected Associated Students Senator for the School of Humanities. I served in that position for 2 semesters. I enjoyed my time as CSUN, and still stay active in my local (Conjeo Valley) sorority alumnae chapter, where I have served as President, Vice President and Reference Chairman.
Ask a busy person..." While I can't claim authorship, I seem to live by this ideal. Over the course of my adult life, I have been involved with many organizations where I have assumed leadership roles with delight. In an effort to grow our business I joined Ali Lassens' Leads Club, an international business networking club in 1994. As a Chapter Consultant with Leads Club, I work as a liason between Eileen Elliot, Executive Director (So. Cal area) and 2 Local Chapters of Leads Club.
JRP Productions is maintained as a home based business. We travel to our clients and most are unaware that our office is in our home. It was a conscious decision on our part to maintain an in-home business while raising our family. As the proud and mostly sane mother of three teen aged boys, I like the challenge of being a super woman of the 21st Century. Seriously, I know that my lifelong experiences in business and working with people are what got me to where I am, and are what continue to get me where I am going.
