Hi from Jämsänkoski/Finland!!
Just a 15 minutes ago I found your Jackson Browne websites. I was very pleased because I have borrows few times his CD Late for the Sky from our local public library. That CD doesn«t have those lyrics inside. And that«s why I was happy to find those words. Now I have better chance to sing and play them by myself. That music did improve me lot!
At same time I found also a song named Call It a Loan. It wakes up good memories from my early 1980 years. Then I used to listen Eagles, which I learnt to know from my neighbours brothers who playd them.
I hope when Mr.Browne will come to Finland I had to opportunity to listen to him. Those Eagles-concerts were sold out in a one hour.
Sincerely,
Not knowing how else I might reach Jackson. I am writing this letter in hopes that he might visit your site. My name is Marcus, and I have been listening to Jackson's music for about ten years. Funny because I am only twenty one years old. It was my Father who initially sparked my interest in Jackson's music. I will forever remember playing "air guitar" to "for a rocker" in my dad's basement with my best friend at his imaginary drums. However over the years my love for his music has evolved from the need for that upbeat song, to an appreciation for the power all of his music contains. I now listen more intently to the words than anything else. I have come to realize that Jackson has an uncanny ability to put his feelings into words. Something that I have never been able to do. Basically I just wanted to say thank you Jackson. There have been many times in my life that your music has helped carry me. I am not saying I wouldn't be here without your music, only in some ways you have helped me understand myself a little better. I shall close this letter, because I feel I am sounding like an obsessed fanatic. That is not the case though, I just wanted to tell you thank you for what you do... Oh yeah, one more thing. I would really like to see you come back to Utah sometime this year! It's been a few years since you have been here. WE MISS YOU! And as for you Russ, thank you for making such a wonderful site for fans of Jackson Browne's music!
Much appreciation,
Hi Everybody,It's by sheer accident I'm writing to ya now! I've been a fan of Jackson for about the last 20 or so years, but just discovered your site 15 minutes ago! Well it's actaully thanks to Rolling Stone magazine that I found you. I must say it's a very good site, lots of facts I'd never known about the great man.
I'm contacting you here from Ireland, and really wish Jackson would come back and play here again,it's been to long! The last time I saw him play was in Dublin a few years back, a really great show. That night he was joined on stage by our own Paul Brady, he was in the audiance believe it or not! Anyway thats about it, incidently I was just browsing your section on Jackson on other peoples records, I could be wrong but I didn't see John Prine's name in there, Jackson sings on an album of his from around 1978 called Briused Orange, keep the good work.
