GENERAL FAN COMMNETS:

Hi Everyone. Very exciting news that Jackson is releasing a double CD with David Lindley. Equally exciting that they are touring, apparently with the band so it will presumably be different to the recorded material. How frustrating then that when tickets went on sale on wed 3rd March, even at 9am when they were first available, the sellers couldn't allocate tickets, only take the money and send you pot luck tickets. By the time the Royal Albert Hall had them on sale yesterday, you could choose your seats but all the front and most of anything worth having were already sold.

Consequently, the black market is the only option to get good seats. I have managed second row seats at Nottingham for £140(face value £47. 50) and although I have offered £200($300) for fourth row seats at the Albert Hall, so far I haven't got any. I will get good seats because I will pay whatever it takes. It just seems rough justice that fans like I am , can't get a good seat at a fair price. I have seen Jackson, from top seats everytime he has been to the UK , usually 4-6 times per tour and nothing will change that!!

How much better though to allow somebody(as a promoter of Sports events, I would do it willingly) to sell 100 great seats at a premium price(maybe£150 each) and let the holders have a photo with Jackson(again I have £20k worth of instant photography equipment) and donate the £10000 to a charity of his choice. A raffle and an auction of a signed guitar and maybe a couple of nicely framed LP covers would conservatively raise another £10k. How much better than whatever is happening now. Who is it, selling vastly inflated tickets on the day they go on sale? How do they get them? Why can't people like myself get them legitimately? I will pay whatever it takes to get good seats but how much better if the extra few hundred pounds its going to cost me to see 3 or 4 shows went to one of the mans ecological causes!?

To end on a more upbeat note, I can't wait to see him for probably the 40th time in June. Let the music keep your spirits high. Sod the touts

Take it easy
