Hi, Some time ago I read some information concerning the ages of Jackson Browne fans, the oldest I believe was 65 or 68 and I just want to add my name to the list and I'm 78.. My son got me started listening to J Browne songs and for a Birthday present a few years ago took me to see and hear a Jackson Browne concert at the Arlene Snitzer Hall here in Portland. My husband and son have been musicians all their lives.

What got my interest in the beginning was that my son's singing voice and Jackson Brownes sounded very much alike. My son had a growth on his vocal cord and his voice never came back so he quit music but we still go to hear him every time he's in town and we plan on going this year when he comes to Portland in Sept/.I really like all his songs and hee's the only artist that when he puts a tape or C.D. I like everything on them. So many times when you buy an album C.D. or tape, there might be one maybe two songs you like and the rest don't matter. With him, we like them all, especially the words.. Have never met him, would like to sometime of course but if I don't I'll go on enjoying him for as long as I'm around!!!!!!

Hello to all my fellow Jackson Browne fans. I have been a major fan since I first heard "Rock Me On The Water" when I was only 13. I have followed his music through the years and I am now a bigger fan than ever. My favorite album is The Pretender, my favorite song "The Fuse"...course it's hard to name favorites when you love him like I do. I've since seen him twice in concert and on Sept. 12, I will be taking my 13 year-old daughter to see him.......may God bless Jackson Browne and his beautiful music.....

To Elektra/Asylum Records:

Many Jackson Browne fans (including myself) have re-purchased the first six Cd titles of Jackson. These are the newly remastered versions of Saturate Before Using (1972) - Hold Out (1980). The only flaw in these "new" discs is that they do not (in or on the cover inlay) state that they have been remastered. The only proof a buyer has that states a particular Jackson Browne title has been remastered is from a sticker on the plastic wrap around the Cd. I also had no idea that Elektra/Asylum codes each remastered Jackson disc with an engraved "RE" after the catalog number on the disc itself (for you fans unaware of this -- turn the disc over and look at the center -- Thanks to Russ Paris for pointing this out to me!!)

I believe Elektra/Asylum should correct this matter. A buyer should have the priviledge to have a form of authenticity (in or on the cover inlay) which states that a Cd title has been remastered. Not too many people (myself included) would ever have thought of looking at the center of the disc itself (!@#$%). You folks also might take into consideration to remaster ALL of Jackson's titles from the 80's as well.
