A very generous offer! I'm told that the tickets were given away the same day this letter was posted. So please don't bother "rsutton1" at this time. Thank you.

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I think all that visit this site will agree that it is such a cool thing to offer the free tix for that Tom P./JB concert on the 17th in St. Louis. It is in my opinion the perfect example of what it is to be cool. Even though I couldn't possibly have made that concert, I would have jumped on that (of course) if I could have. So, here's to you, rsutton1@unl.edu for that gesture. I am absolutely positive that whoever got those tix feel that too. --BL

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I'm 36 years old and have always been touched by Jackson Browne's music. Since I was 10 and heard and owned Running on Empty, no other artist has been with me , seen me through tough times, and made me nostalgic over the years.

Its currently 4:30am where I am on this day. Today I lost my unborn son, 36 weeks into my wife's pregnancy. Luke has passed from this place. The music I listen to as I write this? Of course Jackson Browne. "Sky Blue and Black". It soothes me and always has. Thank You, for now I am comforted in this troubled time. Understand that you touch so many people and I am one of them.

Stay Mr Browne, stay with us for a long time, we need you.

Sincerely from a life long fan,

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

Just needed to say how impressed I was by the J.B. fan offering up his/her tickets gratis after they couldn't make the show. Almost restores my faith in human nature. Almost.

Here's to lights and virtues.

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

Hello Russ,

I've recently found your Jackson Browne-Website and found out again what his music means to me. I am from Germany and I am a musician and songwriter. This big influence of westcoastmusic began with a tv-show in 1979. A 16-year-old kid and touched straight to the heart. Styles came and went away, and I can tell you the radioshows in Germany nowadays are heavy stuff... so i still believe in some's people taste all around the world.

Thanx and have a nice day!
