6. October 29 - in Portland, Oregon at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. A benefit concert to help in the restoring of arts to public schools. Proceeds will go directly to revive school plays, art classes and music performances in Portland schools!
   
   
7. October 30 - in Sandpoint, Idaho. A solo acoustic show in support of the Rock Creek Alliance which is fighting the proposed Asrco Rock Creek Mining operation.
   
   
8. October 31 - in Billings, Montana at the Alberta Bair Theatre. Benefit in support of a measure to ban new or expanded cyanide mines in Montana. Montanans for Common Sense Mining Laws/ For Initiative 137 said Browne will perform an acoustic concert with folk singer Danny O'Keefe at the Alberta Blair Theater at 8 P.M. All concerts proceeds to benefit Montanans for Common Sense Mining Laws I-137.
   
   

December 1998 Benefit Concerts
Three benefit concerts were late additions to Jackson's schedule for December 1998:

1. December 18 in Santa Monica, California at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Keb' Mo', Sarah McLachlan and Los Lobos for a Hurricane Relief Benefit. Tickets are on sale through Tickemaster at $35. There are Golden Circle tickets, with reception, for $200 (roughly 100 tickets in this category), and Silver Circle for $100. These are available through Avocado Productions.
   
   
2. December 20 in Santa Cruz, California at the Santa Cruz Civic Center. Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Hornsby for a Hurricane Relief Benefit.
