Winter/Spring 2005 Shows and Benefits:
  1. February 12, 2005 at Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA. KTYD presents "Hear and Now: A Benefit for La Conchita". Scheduled to appear: Jackson Browne, Collective Soul, Michael McDonald, Tom Curren, Jeff Bridges, Jimmy Messina, Christopher Cross.

  2. March 5, 2005 at John Varvatos Boutique in Los Angeles, CA. For the John Varvatos 3rd Annual Stuart House Charity Event, An Entertainment Filled Afternoon To Benefit Stuart House, A Program of the Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center.

  3. Kokua FestivalApril 13, 2005 at Maui Arts & Cultural Center at Maui, Hawaii. The Kokua Festival presented by musician Jack Johnson, with Jackson Browne, L.A.-based socially conscious hip-hop crew Ozomatli, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Hawai'i musicians John Cruz and Kawika Kahiapo & Kaukahi. Proceeds to benefit Jack Johnson's non-profit Kokua Hawai'i Foundation, which supports environmental education programs in Hawaii schools.

  4. April 16, 2005 at Waikiki Shell at O'ahu, Hawaii. The Kokua Festival presented by musician Jack Johnson, with Jackson Browne, L.A.-based socially conscious hip-hop crew Ozomatli, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Hawai'i musicians John Cruz and Kawika Kahiapo & Kaukahi.   5. Claremont Folk Festival May 14, 2005 at Vista de las Cruces School in Gaviota, CA. School fundraiser starting at noon and featuring art, music, food and wine tasting. A $25 donation buys a catered barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m., music from 1 to 8 p.m., and wine tasting from 1 to 4 p.m. Reservations must be received by Tuesday. Information: 805-686-1880. Jackson Browne will play, as well as local musicians, including fiddler Nick Coventry, Los Hermanos Cruz, Chris Pelonis, Randy Cobb, Wade Brown and special guests.

  7. Santa Monica Benefit June 5, 2005 at Santa Monica High School in Santa, Monica, CA. Jackson Browne, Venice and Ozomatli will be performing a benefit concert Sunday, June 5, at the Memorial Greek Theatre, an outdoor venue residing on the campus of Santa Monica High School. The show begins at 2 PM and supports music programs in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Tickets go on sale May 14. There will be a Special Internet Sale for Fans before tickets go on sale to the general public. This special sale begins Wednesday, May 11 at 12 noon PDT. These include Reseved, Silver and Gold Cirlce tickets (Gold Circle include after show reception). For regular presale tickets you can also go to Ticketmaster and use the password: "HOB"

  8. June 11, 2005 at Great Lakes Yacht Services Boatyard, 61 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay (Door County), WI. To honor the 75th anniversary of the Michigan Street Bridge. The state plans a complete renovation of the bridge next year, but it remains a target of demolition plans by some local detractors. Browne is weighing in on the controversy by appearing at the request of Citizens for Our Bridge, a group fighting the demolition. Singer Pat MacDonald, a Northeastern Wisconsin native, is a friend of Browne and a fan of the old bridge. Browne and MacDonald both are expected to perform at an afternoon concert. Tickets are FREE! Donations are requested to help rehabilitate the old bridge; Limited VIP passes for major donors.

  9. Camp Winnarainbow Benefit June 18, 2005 at Coventry Grove Amphitheater in Kensington, CA. A benefit for Camp Winnarainbow, a circus and performing arts camp. An afternoon of music & fun, featuring an acoustic performance by Jackson Browne, The Prescott Clowns and master of ceremonies Wavy Gravy. Summer 2005 Shows and Benefits:
  1. TellurideJuly 23, 2005 at Telluride Town Park in Telluride, CO. KOTO and Las Montañas proudly present JACKSON BROWNE LIVE IN TELLURIDE on Saturday, July 23. Opening act Pat MacDonald (formerly of Timbuk3). The 9th Annual KOTO Doo-Dah in Telluride Town Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets $46 in advance / $49 day of show.   2. August 10, 2005 at Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO. R & R Triple A Radio Summit with Jackson Browne, Mike Gordon and Leo Kottke. This event is primarily for the AAA radio conference invitees, though they will be opening some seats to the public. It's certainly listed at: www.foxtheatre.com and it says there that tickets go on sale Thursday, July 7 at 10am at $40. The R&R summit has showcase slots (as opposed to this being a traditional concert setting). I've heard that Leo and Mike will be playing a 30-45 minute slot and then Jackson will be performing his 2 hour solo acoustic show. I don't know how many tickets will be offered to the general public.

  3. August 14, 2005 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. Jackson Browne will open for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Presale begins Friday, June 10th at 10am PST, and ends Friday at 10pm PST. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 11th at 10am PST through Ticketmaster.


Fall 2005 Shows and Benefits:
  1. Songs of Strength BenefitSeptember 25 at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Monica, CA. Jackson Browne will be performing with kd lang, Judith Owen, the Gwen Wyatt Chorale and others at a "Songs Of Strength" benefit concert to raise funds for hurricane relief. 100% of the proceeds from this benefit concert will go directly to relief and recovery efforts for the thousands of people affected by this disaster. 4:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church, 1008 Eleventh Street, Santa Monica, CA 90403. Suggested minimum donation is $25.00 per ticket. Tickets go on sale at FUMC office starting the week of September 18th. For information visit Songs Of Strength.

  2. Avila Beach Music FestivalOctober 29 at the Avila Beach Music Festival in Avila Beach, CA. Jackson Browne will be performing with Chris Hillman, Herb Pedersen, Jude Johnstone, and Irene Kelley. Tickets are now on sale at: www.avilabeachmusicfestival.org. Established as a fundraiser to help two important community organizations, OPTIONS and SMILE, the Avila Beach Music Festival helps both organizations raise much needed funding. Both of these organizations specialize in benefiting people with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries.

  3. November 5 at the Friar's Club in Beverly Hills, CA. Jackson Browne and Pedro Ricardo Miño (Spain's Celebrated Flamenco Pianist) presented through Living Wellness Foundation's Sounds of the Sacred,"WALK ACROSS THE WORLD", an Initiative for Global Peace through Cultural Understanding.   4. November 6 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, CA. Jackson Browne and Stephen Stills at Cure Autism Now's 10th Anniversary CAN:DO Gala Show.


  5. Common Bonds BenefitDecember 8 at the Hollywood Bowl Cottage in Los Angeles, CA. Fire Rose Productions in association with Nail Soup Productions proudly presents: An Evening of Music & Comedy, featuring Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne, singer/songwriter Kenny Rankin, singer, Arnold McCuller and actor/writer Trey Nichols. Doors open 6:30PM. Proceeds from this event go to funding American Sign Language interpreters for the deaf actress in the production of Common Bonds a play by Jan Alejandro, and to expand access to the deaf audience during all performances. $50.00 per person .
