Jackson Browne - Fan Letters & Reviews
January 2001

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

The first time I saw Jackson Browne was in 1974 at the Civic Center in Oklahoma City. Bonnie Raitt was his backup. I was so excited when my boyfriend got the tickets, we were on the 7th roll. I was blown away by him then as I still am today. I have seen Jackson everytime he has been back to the OKC area since, minus the July, 2000, Okemah concert for Woody Guthrie. Unfortunately I found out about this concert a week late (it sort of reminds me of a lyric for a Jackson Browne song).

I have been a loyal fan of Jackson since the first time I heard him on the radio. The guy who took me to the concert in 1974, I did end of marrying; however, we didn't stay that way, but I did get the Jackson Browne albums in the divorce!!!

Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt I feel are the two heart strings to music. When you listen to their songs you realize they are telling a story, maybe it's your story maybe the story of a friend, but it is a story worth listening to over and over again. All my children were rocked to sleep listening to this music, and later on in their lives they were rocking with me to the same music. His music does not only conform to my generations ears, it is music that transforms to all age groups. He is a storyteller with a great story, wonderful voice, and soooo nice to look at. How does he do it?

Jackson I hope you will come back to the OKC area very soon. Now that I know about this website, I will not miss another date to hear you.

Your fan for life,
