GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

hi this is susan from newport ri. i'm on my bro's puter this time, don't have my own. i had written up a very long story to put on here, but i seem to have misplaced it. so i'm just going to type this off the top of my head. i somehow managed to get a FRONT ROW CENTER seat to see JB in prov. on april 4. i just happened to be in prov. on thurs. jan 31. i had been calling the PPAC a couple times and asking when JB tix on sale, and a week and a half ago they said "they had no idea" and i said i would call back in a week. but i was in prov on the 31st and happened to pick up a free phoenix paper and just opened up it to the ad for JB concert and tix were going on sale next day. well i have a friend who lives in prov who i was seeing later anyway so i called him up and asked if it was o.k. if i stayed over that night so i could be at PPAC right a 10 a.m. or earlier. he said fine. i also had to call out of work but that's o.k. i didn't say why. sorry i'm babbling. anyway i got to ppac at 1005 a.m. my frend thought he might want to go to concert with me, but he doesn't even like jb but i wasn't sure i really wanted to go alone either. so i asked for 2 tix and the girl said she had fourth row, but way on left. then i said how about one ticket, she says "front row center" i said what, i couldn't believe it!!!! i said o.k. i'll take it!!!! it actually is about 7 seats in from the exact middle, cause the middle is an aisle. anyway i am very thrilled by this and i will be sure to send you another 2 page letter or more after this concert (like i did in june 2002 about when i saw him may 10 2002 at ppac.) i also want to say that i was very happy and excited to hear about solo acoustic vol 2 will be out soon. then a couple weeks later i was REALLY happy to hear about this tour and him being in prov.last time i brought a camera and waited l l/2 hrs. for him to walk out and i took pics of him. this time i might not even bring a camera, that might jinx it. sure i would like to meet him and shake his hand and say hello or whatever, seeing i'll be in front row, do you think others in front row would have all kinds of connections and could get me back stage to meet him, rather having to wait outside for him to walk out??? well, we'll see,,,.... i made a prediction a long time ago that i would meet jb before he's 60... so who knows... i also said i'm going to marry him... but i just would at least like to meet him,.......

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I am pissed off. Just spent an hour trying to get tickets to Jackson at the Borgota as a graduation present for my son online and on the phone. They went on sale at 10 this morning. Nada. They are gone. While i missed the pre-sale due to a doctor's appnt for a family member--there are tickets on ebay for 3, 4 times the face value for other venues. What can the average person do to get tickets? If anyone has 2 or 3 extra tickets for the Borgota show, please email me at tmfuerst@gmail.com. I would take one, but it was meant to be a gift for my son and his Godmother from us to him but I don't want him down there alone. Thanks.

Webmaster's Reply:

Ticket situations at casinos are notoriously bad. It seems that the casinos often reserve large chunks of their tickets for guests and high rollers. This means that less tickets are available to the fans, and also that the shows often have lots of people there who are just there for "a show" and not necessarily fans of the artists. Hopefully someone will see your letter on the website and have a suggestions or extra tickets for you.

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I also tried to get tickets for the Borgata show. I called at 3 minutes before 10:00 and was told to call back at 10:00. I tried getting tickets by calling on 2 phones and Online (could not get through online at all), finally got through on my cell phone at 10:06, was put on hold to 10:16 and was told it was there were no tickets available. This is a show for the FANS.........Totally not right!

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I attended one of the acoustic shows @ the Orpheum Theater in Phoenix in March of 04 and am lucky enough to have gotten 4th row dead center seats at the up comming acoustic tour. Does any one know if these upcoming shows or any of the 04 shows were filmed and are there plans for them to be released? Jackson has to know that the demand for these are probably very high. The 04 solo acoustic cd was excellent and I am sure the new upcoming release will be the same and it sure would be nice to have a live show captured. Thanks.

GENERAL FAN COMMENTS:

I don't mean to be too whiny, but I jumped on the Wells Fargo Tix just as soon as was humanly possible through Jackson's site, and I'm trying to be a big boy about it, but I'm off to the side in the middle of the section. My question is for the future, would it be better to wait until the venue opens it's ticket sales and try to be early there? If I didn't get in the middle section, who does? Maybe I'll call Wells Fargo.. Anyway, I'm in, but still...

I really don't know what's best and I think each venue might be different. For our local venue, the physical box office didn't open until after the tickets had been a sale for an hour... so going to the venue to get tickets would have been worse than going through Ticketmaster. I really don't know what the best solution is. The venues for this tour aren't real big so there are only a limited number of tickets and that makes it harder... but on the other hand even the "bad" seats should be pretty good.
