On Jimmie Spheeris' 1976 album Ports Of The Heart, Jackson Browne sings backing vocals on the track "It's You They're Dreaming Of". (Jackson's vocals are pretty far back in the mix.) Originally released on Epic Records (PE 34276), the album was reissued on CD by Rain Records in 1999. Jackson mentions Jimmie in the lyrics to his song "The Barricades Of Heaven".
