"Bootlegs"

Disclaimer: The contributors and editors of this document do not promote bootleg recordings of any kind. Bootlegs deprive the recording artist of revenue, often are of poor quality, and in many cases are illegal. Bootlegs are included in this document as a source of information only.

PLEASE NOTE: Jackson has gone on record saying that he does not approve of the recording of his concerts or the distribution of such recordings in any manner. However, if you are going to look for such material, please do it by trading and do not purchase such items from people looking to profit off of Jackson Browne's music.

The photos below are not an attempt at making an extensive listing of bootleg recordings. This is just a very small sampling of some of the better-known unofficial releases, some of which were made to look official. Since 1995, nearly every concert Jackson has performed at has been bootlegged by one or more sources. The advent of minidiscs, DAT Recorders and similar miniaturized recording devices has made bootlegging so commonplace, that there is no practical way to list every recording since that time.

This is a free service for the fans of Jackson Browne in an effort to promote free trading as opposed to the selling of bootlegs. (The Jackson Browne Artwork Site does not actually give access to bootlegs, just artwork for them.)
